We’ve covered the events hosted at Middleton Family Farms here in the past. We are continuously pleased and excited by what they are able to do for the Tri-City community year after year and believe that it warrants some attention and appreciation. The folks at Middleton have outdone themselves when it comes to hosting seasonal events for the entire community to enjoy. They offer a safe and comfortable space for families to explore and participate in fun seasonal activities, dine on fresh local foods, and enjoy some of the region’s finest beers and wines.

Schedule

This year, the Fall Festival will take place from September 16 to October 29, offering a wide timeslot for us to get out there and enjoy the fruits of autumn. The festival will be open on Thursdays from Noon to 6:00 pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Sundays from Noon to 6:00 pm. If you make it to the farm early enough, you might even get the chance to experience the Sunflower Days, a segment of the Fall Festival that celebrates the beautiful yellow flower. On offer during this special event is a vast five-acre sunflower field to explore and even gather to take home.

Activities

Middleton Farms offers a variety of activities geared toward family fun. You can expect to get lost navigating the sprawling corn maze, take a tractor ride through the farm’s fields, try new foods from the local food carts, stroll through the pumpkin patch and even pick one out to take home in time for Halloween. The corn maze is available throughout the daytime and into the night, where flashlights are recommended to help navigate. It is noted as one of the largest corn mazes in the Northwest! While participating in the so-called “Night Maze” can be harrowing, Middleton Farms ensures its visitors that the maze is “not haunted.” We’ll leave that up to you to decide. The maze is wheelchair accessible, ensuring that the fun is available to everyone. A kids’ maze is also present on site for the youngsters to delve into while remaining safe under the watchful eye of parents.

Food

Middleton Farms have hosted local food carts on the grounds in years past, which has always allowed for the discovery of new favorites. They’ve since created a menu of their own including delicious flatbread pizza, pumpkin donuts, pulled pork sandwiches, chicken tenders, ice cream, and lemonade. This new fare will be available all throughout the festival site and we couldn’t be more excited to see what they’ve cooked up.

Logistics

Online admission to the event is cheaper than purchasing tickets at the gate and though the space is quite large, it is in fact limited, so it may be best to plan your trip ahead of time. Tickets can be purchased online through the Middleton Farms website ($15.95 for Thursday-Friday, $18.95 for Saturday-Sunday). At the gate prices are $18.95 (Thursday-Friday) and $21.95 (Saturday-Sunday). Middleton Farms is located at 1050 Pasco Kahlotus Road, just off Highway 12 in Pasco.
