Spring is just around the corner! With the added complexity that the COVID-19 pandemic brought into the world, many of us have been feeling rather cooped up over the past year. Quarantining ourselves for the safety and wellbeing of our close friends and loved ones has come at the cost of missing many of the comforts that we were so accustomed to. Many of the simple entertainments that were taken for granted before have been absent from our lives as of late. Luckily, our region – along with many others throughout the country and world – has been making great strides over the past few months. The growth of new cases has been steadily slowing as promising new vaccines are being produced and distributed to the public. These great strides have allowed southeastern Washington State to move forward into “phase two,” wherein more businesses are allowed to open their doors to customers once more.

With the coinciding of the warmth of Spring and our transition into phase two, there is perhaps no better time to get back out in the community and begin living life to its fullest. Overwhelmed with choices? We’ve covered many of the Pacific Northwest’s hidden gems in our Destination series, each ripe for day trip or weekend getaways. However, this time, we thought we’d turn out attention to some of the splendid golf courses that populate the Tri-Cities, each offering the chance to get outdoors with friends/family and enjoy the warming weather together. Whether you’re brand new to the game, a returning player, or simply someone trying to crush his or her friends at a high-stakes round of put-put, there is something for everyone to enjoy when the clubs come out.
