In our previous article covering the three unique wineries that constitute Richland’s Winery Row, we were only scratching the surface. Our area boasts a number of wonderful fermented grape artists. In an effort to continue our “shouting out” (I’ve been assured the kids today use this phrase) of local businesses, it seemed fitting to take another look at our local wineries and spread the love to a few lesser-known locales.

As we crawl through phase one of our re-opening, local businesses need as much support as the community can give. They are the backbone of our Tri-Cities economy, and we’ll continue to lend a helping hand in these trying times! Each of the following wineries are open to half-capacity as per the safety requirements and regulations of Washington State. Check their respective websites for more details or contact them via phone to inquire further about COVID protocol.

Recent data suggests that approximately 7.5 million small businesses in the U.S. are at risk of closing permanently as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and its subsequent economic effects. Many of the local family-run businesses of the Tri-Cities fall into this vulnerable category. It is our duty as a community to help those who are in need, and we can do so by lending our support to local business over large corporations whenever possible. So if you are looking to make afternoon plans or just wanting to relax with family and loved ones, what better place to do it than one of our fine local wineries?
